BLOGGING FOR BUCKS????

A week ago I came across an opportunity to create a blog on which AdSense ads can be placed. The pick-up line was "Make income within 5 minutes". Well, that certainly was not the case. I spent hours getting the blog visually pleasing, then decided to give it a domain so that I could link other pages plugging my Karaoke business for local customers. My total income for AdSense is $0.02. I know...quite humiliating.
I do enjoy having the ads on the site because they really do add character and am also having a great time in the blogger community reading other blogs, although I am spending more time in the blogosphere than finishing my sit. I just don't think its fair that every time someone views my site, the ads, are being viewed by potential customers and we don't get any kickback for that. Only CLICKS!
In short, I love what I'm doing and will continue on my path to learn all I can and prosper. I just thought I would put my 2 cents in...Oh wait, I need that. LOL
