Simon and I both loved the performance of Katharine McPhee singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" but apparently thats not enough to impress the music mongrals at BMG. Katharine got the boot by the recording studio. Guess toooooooo sweet just doesnt sell albums, but with a voice like an angel she shouldn't have any problem finding a suitable enviroment to spread her sugar coated wings.
