"American Idol" viewer votes has now narrowed down the Top 24, to the Top 16, as four more contestants were eliminated tonight.Alaina Whitaker, Alexandrea Lushington, Jason Yeager and my favorite, Robbie Carrico, said goodbye to their idol experience.
Alexandrea Lushington and Robbie Carrico should still be in the running as far as I'm concerned. If America wanted to get rid of a rocker, then Overmeyer should have been the one to bite the big one. Her performance was worse than any of the other contestants.
I am not an Amanda Overmeyer hater...I swear...but the girl who once seemed so tough and cool, now looks like a scared cat on Halloween, about to be plowed by a Harley Davidson. And the worst part is, she's not a very good singer and makes a lot of mistakes. America must be votting for the worst.
Now that hottie, Robbie Carrico, is on to bigger and better things, I leave it up to my second pick for the guys, sweetheart, David Archuleta. As for the girls, so far, Brooke White and Carly Smithson are killin it each week.
Good Luck to the 16 that are left...And I will miss Alexandrea and Robbie.
